I am combining my skill and passion for photography and editing to create a collection of images that have been manipulated. The style I’m implementing will be retro 80’s aesthetic theme, I have always wanted to try and create these effects for my work and seeing as the location and fashion in these are very 80’s inspired I thing this would be a great opportunity to create some interesting work. I have a lot of inspiration for this idea a lot of it being music. There are two songs in particular that inspire me, судно (Борис Рыжий) by Motchat Doma & 50/50 by Vantage, both these songs have very interesting 80’s vibes and I love them. The techniques I will be trying to show is almost an old VHS. I will be creating this effect on all 4 photos on Photoshop and then maybe adding some the effects such as damaging as if the photo was damaged in production, I want to send a photo from the 2020 back to 1980.
