Since this lock down started, the resources I had were a model (my sister), a DSLR camera and a laptop to work from. Due to the limited resources I had, I decided to follow on with my FMP work, the theme of 'Feminism'. I wanted to work on images that express the 60s, 80s and modern fashion photography and show how much equality has changed, demonstrating a strong message to stand out on the media platform. In my opinion, people have misunderstood feminism over the years, and I feel feminism is not about women being more in power than men or that feminists hate men. Feminism is about ensuring equality to both women and men; they can both be ‘the boss’.

Feminism is feeling important about yourself in any situation this can include jobs, money, housework, clothes and make up! Feminism is equality. My photos are about representing

empowerment of equality during lock down by just getting out of bed embracing your body to make yourself feel good. My images are all about that inner feeling of feeling good about yourself. Women can feel powered by themselves and feel comfortable in anything they wear that represents their beauty to the media.
